What is Digital Citizenship?
This is one of the most important technology features we need to teach our kids in the world of ever changing digitization. There is no way for us to stay up on everything that is and will be available to our kids but providing them strategies and helping them to understand their role in the cyber world will help them to make the best decisions as they discover all that technology can offer them in their academic and social environments. Cyber bullying, Digital Footprints, Protecting Privacy and Intellectual property are so very important to the safety and happiness of our kids and the world around them. Without our intentional and proactive intervention, kids will not fully understand the consequences, pitfalls and dangers that technology could and will present them.
This is an amazing website for parents and educators. You can read review of apps and digital games, check on age restrictions, find technology contracts, look at proposed screen time suggestions, and so much more. This site will be your best friend for the rest of your child's youth.
