First graders are some of the most creative people in the world! They still believe in dragons, superheros, unicorns and imaginary worlds! This was a really fun activity for me to get to know your kids more personally as well as academically!

| We read this book to help us remember that art isn't about 1 thing or even certain colors, it is about what you make of it and how you feel about what you have created! |
We worked together to from a community art picture to hang with our portraits and poems! They were asked to practice sharing, patience and to politely ask for certain colors when others were using them. Not one argument about colors! Amazing!
