Our class Spider Web

We voted to make HUGE spiderweb for our classroom!  To do this we had to take tums having special jobs.  One job was to walk the "silk".  This included twisting the yarn around itself when we passed by other strands.  

Another job was to hold the corners!  This was super important as these corners would need to connect to our pulley system that would raise the web to the ceiling!

Once we had our basic shape we used others yarn pieces to tie strands together!  This was good practice for beginning shoe lace tying!

We got to raise most of the web before we left on Friday!  It looks awesome!  I canny wait until we get to add our spiders and their facts!
