Teacher: We are going to build a bridge that is sturdy today.
Kids: Yea!!
Teacher: You each get a partner, a strip of paper and a colored counter. Your bridge has to be sturdy enough to hold the counter!
Kids: (talking with their partner to plan)
Teacher: Oh, and you CAN'T use scissors, glue or tape!
Kids: WHAT! How are we supposed to do that! We can't do it then.
Teacher: yes you can, you just might have to try it a few different ways to make it work! Ready go!
It took a few minutes of trying different things but they came up with some tricky ways to make it work! Awesome!
