Here we were observing the differences between the combination of cinnamon and water and pepper and water. When we added cinnamon it dispersed all over the surface and stayed at the top, but when we added the pepper it sort of clumped together and some began falling toward the bottom. Mrs. Lett's told us that it was because pepper is made of at least two different things! When we added the detergent the cinnamon repelled it where as the pepper was drawn to it! Super cool to see how the different substances were affected differently!
