At this station we worked with a partner to try and disperse the water from the jar with pennys. We filled the water to the top and counted how many pennys it took to make it overflow.
We stopped to talk about how if there was a wet spot on their napkin then that meant it had overflowed already because the first graders were looking for a waterfall to happen. Kids are so cute!
