Today for greeting we all got a number that we had to order silently!  We had to find the order without talking, then we got to greet our neighbor numbers!  They did great!

Sight and hearing Testing

We all got tested for hearing and sight today with some really nice nurses from a round the district and area!  We were great patients!

Gracie's stories..

We added Gracie to her story map!

This display is in our hallway.  We hung up the map and the the narratives about her adventure we wrote went right up too... With a LEASH attaching to Gracie! After her day, she needs to have a leash on any future walks!  Ha!

Crawl under the smoke

If you are sleeping and hear the beep 3 times then we need to roll out of bed and crawl under the smoke!

Every family should have a safe meeting place!  We practiced going to mailbox!

Smoke House Classroom

We had another visit from the fire department on Monday where we got to practice a safe evacuation!

Looking for dangerously hot things!

If the fire alarm beeps 3 times then we need to be able get out safely!  Check the door before you open it!  If the handle is hot... Don't open it!

Class Pet!

Meet Wuelfie Spike Fangs or Mr. Fangs!

(We spelled "Wuelfie" how the kids spelled it... Names are not always spelled a familiar way)

Our class pet is a cute little spider who saved us from 2 annoying bugs and picked our class window as his special place to put up his fancy web!  

Here is our name graph!  The kids came up with some great name ideas and fabulous reasons why!  This was really fun!  

We used Mr. Fangs to help us learn about capitalizing names!

Fire Safety Assembly

We had an assembly with the brave firefighters about fire safety!
